Our speakers so far include:
Dr Martin Jones:
Martin is the Deputy Head of Microscopy Prototyping at the Francis Crick Institute in London. Martin started out as an experimental physicist, however eventually found himself in biological research at Cancer Research UK. He develops new hardware and software that allows researchers acquire, process, and analyse image data.
Johannes Solzbach:
Johannes is CEO of Clustermarket, an online marketplace helping scientists, engineers and other technology pioneers to rent lab equipment from nearby institutions and to find the best service providers.
Naomi Penfold:
Naomi is Innovation Officer at eLife. Coming from a neuroscience research background, she now spends her work life scouting for people and projects to improve research communication, from discovery and sharing to consumption and evaluation. More broadly, Naomi believes in the potential of the web to make research a more equitable and effective enterprise.
