Hosted in our West End hub – The Shed – this ShedTalk gives three speakers 12 minutes each to tell a story around the word ‘chivalry’. It’s free to attend and each speaker has a story, strategy, experience or viewpoint that will raise eyebrows, prompt debate and light a fire in your belly!

A little info on the speakers telling their stories…

Zachary Falconer-Barfield

Zach is cofounder and first gentleman at The Perfect Gentleman. He’s ridden the entrepreneurial roller coaster since setting up his first company at 19, and has been involved in some 20 other companies in various fields over the past two decades, in which time he’s also gained an MBA, trained as an actor, and battled severe asthma. The Perfect Gentleman is a passion for Zach. He’ll be talking about the historic concept of chivalry as well as the role it plays in the modern world.

James Marwood

James is a highly sought after business change consultant, normally found helping large companies improve how they operate. Previously he’s managed bars and call centres, taught self-defence, researched historical European martial arts and worked as a nightclub bouncer. A keen student of exemplary gentlemanly behaviour, he’s always aspiring to meet the standards set by his grandparents and role models and will discuss chivalry from bouncer to boardroom.

Lydia Foulkes

Lydia founded bespoke tailoring service Perfectly Attired, which straddles the Atlantic with offices in London and New York and a client list of sportsmen and women, celebrities and international high fliers. A lady who’s always played at the top of very male dominated industries with great success, she’ll be exposing chivalry from a female perspective.
