Challenging everything you thought you knew about early humans and the “battle of the sexes”, this talk draws and examines a variety of sources in the quest to find out what that tricky little thing called “human nature” actually is. Is monogamy in humans natural? Is nature really the survival-of-the-fittest free-for-all rumble-in-the-jungle we’ve been led to believe it is, or are animals capable of resource distribution? How have researchers used pseudo-science and projection to justify the discriminations of their day? Over the course of this hour long talk, Matt Vere will guide you on a journey to challenge what you thought you knew about your evolutionary upbringing.

Bring an alert and open mind and get ready to learn!

Please confirm you are able to attend through the Facebook event page (https://www.facebook.com/events/1731660710485554/)

This talk is suitable anyone over 12.

Free, with a suggested donation of £3-5.

*Transition Heathrow is a grassroots movement which aims to bring the principles of transition towns to the area affected by Heathrow Airport and its proposed expansion. We are based at Grow Heathrow in the village Sipson, a reclaimed market garden which runs entirely off-grid.*
