Stella Creasy’s Firing Up Squad

The Trouble Club is a club for the new generation of women working and playing in London and we want to create that rare thing: a working and social place where women are in the majority. It is a place to be industrious, be argumentative, be sociable and be unusual. And where, on stage, you will find some of the best speakers in town, often from professional fields in which they are in a minority.

Stella Creasy, MP for Walthamstow, knows the frustration of seeing brilliant women holding themselves back through a lack of confidence. Her solution? A group of cheerleaders in the form of a Circular Firing Up Squad: bringing women together to cheerlead each other on and stop hesitation standing in the way of success.
